Blurness instancing not working ?

I need info where do i put this script in a LocalScript and where Also it has to work only for 1 time when player joins and never again, till he rejoins Basically this script is for 1 use

game.Players.PlayerAdded:connect(function(player)
player.CharacterAdded:wait()
local blur = Instance.new("BlurEffect",workspace.CurrentCamera)
wait(10)
for i = 56, 0, -1 do
    blur.Size = i
    wait(0.1)
end
end))
end
end)

Now it doesn't work for some reason in game help!

I made double sure my script works this time. The CharacterAdded event might be broken in studio like the PlayerAdded event was, I'm not sure. Anyways, I tested it this time and I know it works. Good Luck, and sorry for the delay.

Use replicated first.

Replicated First... Does just that, it replicates first, and only once.

When using ReplicatedFirst you should use a Local Script. Since we're using a Local Script we don't need the PlayerAdded event because we can just use LocalPlayer.

Example,

-- Local Script In Replicated First
local player = game.Players.LocalPlayer
player.CharacterAdded:wait()
local blur = Instance.new("BlurEffect",workspace.CurrentCamera)
blur.Size = 56
wait(10)
for i = 56, 0, -1 do
	blur.Size = i
	wait(0.1)
end

Edit,

For some reason waiting for the character added event breaks the script. Also, since we're putting the blur effect in the current camera, we don't even need to define the local player. I tested this and it works fine,

-- Local Script In Replicated First
local blur = Instance.new("BlurEffect",workspace.CurrentCamera)
blur.Size = 56
wait(2)
for i = 56, 0, -1 do
    blur.Size = i
    wait(0.1)
end

Good Luck!

If I helped, please don't forget to accept my answer.

No. We forgot to capitalize game.Players. We put game.players when it should be game.Players. I edited my answer and it should work now.
