There are people who ddos servers of some places and nobody can really do anything. Is there any way I can stop this from happening using a script?

DDOS is Distributed Denial of Service. Basically using bots to send data packets to servers causing the server not to know what to do with them and taking the server down. So long as the user has the internet protocol address of the server or internet service, they can take down that service or client ranging from 10 minutes to an hour. This action is illegal.
Unfortunately unless you're a relatively large business, or a website who pays a service to reroute this traffic, it is unavoidable.
