I'm not asking for the script. I'm asking if it's possible.
1.) what I'm trying to do is make a NPC be summoned (preferably near the player that clicked the gui) and where it can be controlled by mouse clicking (because it has to attack enemies)
2.) dragging the mouse to select units that are summoned (one player can summon multiple units at once)
are both of these things possible?

Yes, completely possible. I'd suggest scanning the wiki for articles on CFrame and Mouse properties and/or methods to help you accomplish your goal.
The second would be the hardest, but I believe ROBLOX Lua has a couple of methods for that (since we have 'WorldToScreenPoint()')
The second would probably involve hard math (at least hard for me), unless you can think of a clever solution.
I do have an idea, but I would have to test.
