For starters, in order to script, it's highly recommended you have correct spelling and correct capitalization, as Lua can get quite picky.
A few helpful websites are (best bolded):
Roblox Wiki: wiki.roblox.com
- Useful for looking at tutorials and doublechecking most scripting elements that you may have forgotten
Scripting Helpers: http://scriptinghelpers.org
- Useful for checking errors in scripts and talking to people about scripting elements.
Roblox Scripter's Forum: https://forum.roblox.com/Forum/ShowForum.aspx?ForumID=33
- Useful for talking to other scripters and checking for errors in script
Youtube: https://www.youtube.com
- Useful for watching tutorial videos
Keep in mind, scripting takes patience and time. There are ton of different methods to learning.

* This is how I learned. I looked at *recent* models to see what they did, then I looked up elements on Wiki

* This also helped me out. You can watch thousands of videos on how to script. I recommend watching Peaspod.

First off, you need good spelling and capitalization for scripts (which no offense, but you probably don't have). Second, go on the ROBLOX Wiki to get started.
Sentences are supposed to be capitalised like this. Not Like This. Anyway, you need the wiki, not a mentor: http://wiki.roblox.com/?title=Scripting_Book . For anything you need, you can just look up 'roblox wiki (whatever you need)'. Good luck.
