Oh Lua is very easy!
If you want to get started with scripting I'd recommend wiki.roblox.com, they have a lot of great tutorials.
Here's a script for you, feel free to edit it and learn.
while wait(10) do
local Baseplate = game.Workspace.Baseplate
Baseplate.BrickColor = BrickColor.Random()
end
Put that in a script and you should see the baseplate changing colors every 10 seconds!

I have tried to use the wiki but i just cannot understand it. :(
Okay, i will mess around with that script.
Couldn't figure out much, all I could do is change the time of when it changes colors.
Okay, that's great! Just don't change it to 0 please, that will crash your game. Well, try the wiki it's easy once you understand it.
