I'm creating a wall running script, and I have all of it done, aside from the HumanoidRootPart being CFramed to the 2nd value returned from FindPartOnRay, which is a Vector3, and being 1 stud behind, and facing the 2nd value returned. Basically this:
let's called the 2nd value returned "pos"
Wall: Vector3 = 0,0,0
"pos" = 0,0,1
root original position = 0,0,5
desired position = 0,0,2 and facing the "pos"
I can get it to go to the "pos", and edit it's cframe to go a stud back, but when you set the cframe, it resets the angles so it just goes backwards as a vector3 would.
I can get it to be 1 stud behind the "pos", but not rotated towards it, because if I were to try to go back, it'd go backwards at an angle from the "pos".
You can see an example of the above here: https://www.roblox.com/games/241324533/NSR3-Parkour-Simulator
All help is appreciated.
