I was looking to use SelectPartLasso on something i'm working on but found in the Wiki API that the item is deprecated. I thought maybe to go for using FloorWire instead but it also is being deprecated. What is going to replace these if anything and if not does anyone know of a scripted replacement?

What does the lasso do?
You could use the cframe of the starting block and the cframe of the ending block to create a part in-between them. You'd be using the method that makes laser guns visible, probably. http://wiki.roblox.com/index.php?title=Making_a_ray-casting_laser_gun#Making_a_Laser_Beam
