How to make something move with a conveyor?

Hello guys, I have a steep conveyor and I was wondering if theres a way I can have little blocks that like move along with the conveyor and when they get to the top go back to the bottom? I wanted it to be so that drops that come from the droppers didn't keep falling back down the conveyor. I'm not asking for a script I'm just asking if it's possible and if it is what like function would I use. I'm really lost on this like I don't even know how I would make the script for the block...
