It's been some time now, but some of the dialogs don't show up. I've seen that this doesn't happen in everygame and I'm wondering how developers are dealing with this.
COMMUNITY QUESTION
Why some of the dialogs don't show up and how can I fix it?

Do you mean when an NPC has dialogue? Or when you press "/" it allows you to type?
If you mean NPC,
Right click on the NPC's head (explorer), and click insert>Dialog, and then right click on that, and insert>DialogChoice. Add as many DialogChoices and you want.
I suggest having the "Properties" tab open, so you can modify the text.
If you meant the actual chat.
Go to the game's page, click the "Gear" icon, and then Configure, Permissions, and then chat type.
Classic - On the left in the box
Bubble - Over the player's head
Both - Both, obviously.
Hope I helped.

None of this is the problem. Some of the dialog textboxes don't show up when someone engages in conversation with them. Lets say I have an NPC with a dialog, if I click on the dialogbox to start the conversation nothing shows up.

Make sure you have choices, if not, I don't know, sorry.
I just want to know how???

Are you referring to how some games have a chat option and some don't?
Hey I am having the same problem. This doesn't qualify as a SH question but nonetheless I would love to know the answer as my RP game depends on them. I would rather not have to build my own system as it would take a lot of valuable time and I am ready to publish this game.
@AZDev, yes I have seen this bug around for a while and I also noticed that not all games suffer from it, thats why I'd like to know they workaround it
