In the past, you could set a player's walkspeed to a negative number, and it would invert their controls (W acts as S, A acts as D, etc). However, a recent roblox update changed it so that when a player's walkspeed becomes negative, it is automatically set to 0. Is there a different way to do this? Thanks!

Is it still possible to Invert Controls?

There a couple of ways to easily do this. I am not 100% sure if any of these methods will work, I have not tested any. Here is one that should work.
When a player click a key (W, A, S, D) it look for the player character and get the humanoid object. It then set the Humanoid:MoveTo() to negative depending on which key was pressed.
if A was pressed
Humanoid:MoveTo(Vector3.new(-1, 0, 0))
else
Humanoid:MoveTo(Vector3.new(1, 0, 0))

I personally can't think of any simple ways.
Rip.
You can do this through the starter player scripts.
