Way to display a textbutton as a decal?

You can't display an image on a TextButton. TextButtons are only for text. What you want is an ImageButton, ImageButtons are for Images.
use an image button
local part = Instance.new('Part', workspace)
local gui = Instance.new('SurfaceGui', part)
local button = Instance.new('TextButton', gui)

Use an ImageButton.
Either create the decal, and have a TextButton over it, or just use an ImageButton. ImageButtons will make you have the decal image, but be able to click on it too. If you want text over the item, just add a TextLabel over it and add the text.
