I would suggest you learn the basics and if you have trouble reading the basics of wiki then try and watch it in a video off YouTube. Scripting is a lot of fun when you learn the correct methods to use and what you can construct feels unbelievable but, if I were you and I was making a game I would first do the building then the scripting.
