Using Profile Pictures in GUIs?

So, I'm curious about what the asset ID would be for a profile picture, so I can use it in ImageLabels. I am aware of the http://www.roblox.com/Thumbs/Avatar.ashx?x=100&y=100&Format=Png&username= link, however the picture it gives isn't very high quality.

Is there a different link for this, or a different asset id? Any help is appreciated, and if anything needs clarification please let me know. Thanks! :)

Have you tried adjusting the x and y variables?

Yes, however that just seems to enlarge the picture. Looking for a pic/link with better resolution.

Using the web API that EgoMoose posted, you can find the url:

http://assetgame.roblox.com/Thumbs/Avatar.ashx?username=Shedletsky

This will give us a tiny 48x48 avatar image, but there are parameters for the x and y size (there is a chart in the repository that shows sizes that work).

To make the largest possible avatar image you can use the URL:

http://assetgame.roblox.com/Thumbs/Avatar.ashx?username=Shedletsky&x=420&y=420
