I have a helmet on my player for aesthetics, but when my player aims down his sight on his gun in first person, the camera ends up moving into half of the helmet (the camera is fine when the helmet isn't there) but you can still see the other half of it(basically is looks bad). How do I make the helmet only invisible to the player wearing it?

How do I make a part invisible to only one player? [Answered]

Use LocalTransparencyModifier.
http://wiki.roblox.com/index.php?title=API:Class/BasePart/LocalTransparencyModifier
Example:
workspace.Brick.LocalTransparencyModifier = 0.5
-- after setting the public (original) transparency.
This is preferably without FE enabled, but you can bypass it anyhow.

Use Filtering enabled, make it true, then make the part for one player with a localScript
wait no, make the helmet for all the other players
Preferably without filtering enabled
Oh, well then I have no idea. it's hard without it. because then you could use FE's individuality.

THANKS
Can you put it in as an answer so I can accept it?
an easier way of doing this is to make the part within the user's camera..
If I put the part in the camera, then all the other players wouldn't be able to see the helmet, and only the local player would. That would be the opposite of what I wanted.
No problem. And eh, I'm fine without an accepted answer, all I'd put is what's on the wiki anyhow.
