ScrollingBar's CanvasPosition help?

The answer for this is probably very obvious but I am just stumped. The part of my script that relates to the scrolling bar position always brings up the following error on output: " ScrollingFrame.CanvasPosition set to invalid position (0.000000, 187.000000), clamping to position (0.000000, 0.000000)."

This is the portion of my script that is supposed to make the scroll Position begin the end of the frame:

local scrollbar = game.StarterGui.CustomChat.Chat --the pathway is correct
scrollbar.CanvasPosition = Vector2.new(0,187) -- i believe there is supposed to be another way to do this.

Thank you.

First off, your mistake is in that you're using StarterGui. Don't change stuff in StarterGui.

That also gives the second issue. That's an overscroll because the StarterGui stuff is not drawn, and therefore the bounds are always (0,0) - Especially if you're using scale.

Your solution is to change it in the PlayerGui

Thanks, I just decided to access it through a local script placed as a child of the scrollframe
