I'm wondering how you can script bodyparts, and make them move like roblox does with weapons. How does this work, how do you script animation?
How do you script animation?

There are various different ways to animate, and I won't go into detail on them here - what you need is the basics to get started with.
Your primary focus, if you want to make animations, should be to familiarise yourself with the Weld Object, there is a Tutorial about Using Welds Here.
Then, you need to be familiar with the anatomy of a Roblox Character. Each Character is composed of at least:
Head
Torso
Right Arm
Left Arm
Right Leg
Left Leg
HumanoidRootPart
All the joints (these are Motor6D objects, but behave similarly to Weld objects for animation purposes) can be found in the Torso, they are called:
Neck
Right Shoulder
Left Shoulder
Right Hip
Left Hip
There are a few properties on each weld, but mainly you'll need to know how to manipulate the C0 and C1 CoordinateFrames. Asking your math(s) teacher/tutor about Matrix math will help you to understand this better, it's all about space, 3D positioning, and transforming objects in different dimensions.
That should be enough to get you looking in the right places for how to get this to work, anyway, so I hope you have found this useful ;)
CFrame?
you have to take the position of the body part you want to move and so you put it in
CFame.LArm.Postion{0, 0, 0}
wait(0.5)
CFrame.LArm.Position{1, 0, 1}
wait(0.5)
CFrame.LArm.Postion{2, 0, 2}
am sure you get the hang of it, by the way, I think I did the script a little but wrong, but anyway... hope this helps.

That script doesn't make any sense whatsoever, please make sure you know what you're talking about before posting an answer.
