I'm trying to change the value I get from a loop and change it to a decimal while being the opposite. My code,
for i = 0,10,.05 do
script.Parent.Parent.Rotation = i
script.Parent.Parent.Parent.Parent.WhiteScreen.BackgroundTransparency = i*-1/-.01 --Here's where the problem is
wait(0.01)
end
Background transparency needs to be 0-1 so dividing by ten would fix that. However I need for the i value to be going down, not up. So the way it is now i will be counting up(1 2 3 4 5...) but I need for it to be going down within 1-0 (1, .9, .8, .7, .6 ect...). I tried a few things but my mind can't understand math like this /: Can you guys offer assistance?
Things tried,
i*-1/-.01____Goes too fast. It just blinks white and then off.
i/10*-1____Can't use negative numbers :P
i/10____ the value's going up, not down
