The Dragger Tool?

How would I make a limit on how far the part goes when selected and dragged into space? I would like some sort of boundary, also how would I make it so the parts do not move in a fixed grid.

Like a selection point on the part which allows for all other physics to act on it.

In context of what I'm talking about:

If I'm a wizard, I could lift a part up without touch it. And then wiggle it around.

Well, if you're not already, you'll have to use a custom drag tool that's freely scripted. The most effective way I could think of it to not go in a certain area, is if you put an invisible brick there. (I believe you can set CanCollide to false and it won't interfere with the drag tool). The drag tool abides by the no-collision rule, and won't go into other parts (Depends which version ou have).

A selection point? No idea what you mean.

Ever played work at a Pizza Place? Or Lumber Tycoon 2? Must have. Do you know how you can drag boxed in mid air? Rather than in fixed grid from? Basically that.

@OfChrist that was a version of the Drag Tool, but not a tool. It was more like a Hopperbin, but didn't require it to be selected

@Shawnyg, Tool has a property to remove the need of "Handle". Lumber Tycoon 2's moving of trees and stuff is most likely a Body Mover and a part that spawns where you click-hold
