what does math do in scripting? Whats it used for?

I know how to do math XD but i really dont know why its used in scripting. Can someone please tell me?

Asking "what is math used for?" is about the broadest question possible. If you don't know what math does then I'm sure there's a whole other website that can try to help you understand, but this kind of question has too many answers that are all completely different.

My simplest answer for you is "Everything."

For Values. Like in the game I am making atm instead of making another value to represent double of another value I just do

valueIalreadymade.Value*2

instead of making a new variable to do that I just use *2..

That's only the tip of the iceberg. It is used in many other ways.
