Inserting things into a user's character allows only that user to see the item. If I insert an entire map using:
game.Lighting.Map:Clone().Parent = game.Workspace.CurrentCamera
Would this lag other players if there's multiple maps?

Things cloned or created into currentcamera are strictly client-side. The server could care less about what parts are there, so other players won't be affected.

But why do users tend to lag?
Lots of things cause lag, such as material-ed parts and to much going on on the individual client. If you load a map for a specific client, it will lag for THAT CLIENT depending on the map size-detail but not others. Try using some other ways to decrease lag like not using as many scripts/parts per map. (On a side note, know that scripts in parts don't work if the part is in currentcamera. Try con
connecting functions through the scripts that clone/create them.) Hope all this helped.
