Defining keyboard buttons?
So I wanted to make a chalkboard/Whiteboard with a textbox and some controls. My issue is I don't know how to start. I am guessing I would have to define keyboard buttons and such to make it so you could type on it. I didn't know how you would even define keyboard buttons with letters. If you could help me with that it would be awesome!

Use a SurfaceGui and a TextBox.
If you don't know how, then maybe you should try something a little more simple until you have grasped the concepts of how to make stuff. I'm not trying to be nasty, I'm trying to be honest.
