So, I'm wondering if it is remotely possible to do it where a player chats with a NPC, and on a certain dialogue choice, it promotes your rank in a group?

You Can do many things with HTTPService but you are not able to set Group Ranks

There are promotion bots that groups have made that will not release their code, so it is possible.

Many things are possible with ROBLOX Lua, this being one of them. However, this would probably be very difficult since you'll need to find a way to set someone's group rank in-game (most likely you'll have to use HTTPService). Once you've found out how to do that, you can make it so the game send a HTTP request when the dialog is chosen by using the DialogChoiceSelected method
