Should I Learn LUA from Brandon LaRouche's Books?

Hi, As the Title mentions should I? I've tried the wiki before but there is no ordering so I don't know where to start. I already have the books and have used them so I'm not a complete newbie at code.

Thankl for the help.

Sometimes the best way to learn is by starting a project. You can refer to the wiki or ask questions on scripting helpers if you come across any problems, and by doing such you will become more familiar with code & you will be able to apply it in a variety of places. aquathorn321 858 — 8y

They're quite good, yeah, but some of it is a bit outdated/there are better ways to now do what they achieve at some points. Get the first one (The beginner's guide) then continue the the Advanced Guide if satisified. Also the wiki is your best resource, start here.

^ I've read all of the first book and I'm half way through the second book, The wiki doesn't carry on after lesson 2. KenzaXI 166 — 8y
