I'm making a tank with a moveable turret, all parts in the tank are welded to each other so they don't fall apart but now when I want to move one of the parts it moves the whole tank! It works fine anchored but it should be unanchored to let the player drive around. This is what happens: anchored: https://gyazo.com/a4be46f42712ea4ad1710c58a9f40e5c unanchored: https://gyazo.com/5116b356c4d283026abbfee7cd694de7 And this is the script that moves the turret:
wait(0.8)
local Plr = game.Players.LocalPlayer
local Mouse = Plr:GetMouse()
local Tank = game.Workspace:FindFirstChild(""..Plr.Name.."'s_Tank")
local mousePosition = script.Parent.GetMousePosition.MousePosition
local FakeTurret = Tank.FakeTurretHitbox
while wait() do
local cframe = CFrame.new(FakeTurret.CFrame.p, Vector3.new(mousePosition.Value.p.x,FakeTurret.CFrame.Y,mousePosition.Value.p.z))
print(cframe.p.X,cframe.p.Y,cframe.p.Z)
FakeTurret.CFrame = cframe
Tank.Turret:SetPrimaryPartCFrame(cframe)
end
So how do I move something in a weld if CFraming doesn't work or if I'm just CFraming it wrong?..
