Problem with indoor lighting?

OK, so my problem is that I can't get lighting in buildings in my games. You can still see but I want it to be lighter. Now, I've checked lighting and messed around a bit and I thought I'd find it but I didn't.

I've done it before but I can't yet put my finger on how to do it.

Perhaps it is something I haven't yet tried?

So would anyone be kind enough to tell me how to get the lighting to go inside of buildings so it's not dark inside?

You can make lights by using parts, and giving them a PointLight or a SurfaceLight. Both of them should work.

Thanks, I was going to do that but I thought there was a simple remedy. Thanks again for the help!

You're looking for some of Lighting's properties.

The one you're looking for is Ambient, which changes the hue of indoor lighting. Just make it a bit brighter.

Another property that will help you is Brightness, which will (obviously) affect your place's illumination.
