I'm trying to make a gun for my level, but i'm don't know how to script, can someone help?

I am trying to make a roblox level, and I know how to make parts and all that. The problem now is that I don't know how to script and I've been looking for tutorials, but they don't help. Can anyone help me figure out how to create a gun for my game??
