How to turn a person into a part without suddenly respawning?

This script:

local char = game.Workspace.Part
game.Players.WiseDumbledore.Character = char
game.Workspace.CurrentCamera.CameraSubject = char.Humanoid

does turn you into a part. However, it respawns you afterwards. The Part that I am using consists of just a Head and a Humanoid. What should I do to prevent respawning.

To stop the character automatically loading set CharacterAutoLoads to false:

local Players = Game:GetService("Players")
Players.CharacterAutoLoads = false
local char = game.Workspace.Part
game.Players.WiseDumbledore.Character = char
game.Workspace.CurrentCamera.CameraSubject = char.Humanoid
