Where should I start?

I want to start learning LUA, but I don't know where I should start learning, I know what most of it means, and how to modify it such as gun scripts, colors, positioning and etc, but I would learn to make scripts from scratch to make my own things such as overlays, buttons with functions and other things that can make a game better.
