Is there a way that I can script on roblox such that the sand that I script behaves like real sand, for example, you can click it and there will be a hole? And you can make sandcastles just by clicking the sand?

possibly but I think it would cause a lot of lag
Yes it would be possible to make a land where you can dig and can create a sand castle by clicking, but it would be complicated and you cannot do unions with scripts that I know of which would make it a lot easier.
