How do I make a tool that can make a Block delete?

I Would like to make a spleef style game but i need to learn how to make a block delete when you click on it and i want to make an item that does that.

I am surprised no-one has said this so I am just going to say it

Scripting helper is not a request website! With that being said, have no further ado you would want something like

function onTouched(hit)
wait(0.001) -- in case you are repeating anything
hit:remove()
end

That should work but remember this is not a request website!
