so that you can not see them from the outside.

This has nothing to do with Lua, a quick look on the wiki or simply at the object's properties would give you a sufficient answer.
Simply set the Shadows property to true.

Try using a SpotLight, and changing the degree of the angle to where you want the light to shine. It won't light up everywhere, like a PointLight.
