Where is a good place to learn Lua for the very first time? It would help if there was maybe an interactive website or something to keep my focus on scripting rather than mindlessly reading tutorials on how to do things. Thanks! :)

There is also a Book on the Language.
Its best to learn on youtube codeTheorem,PeasFactory and Pighead10 all have very good tuts to watch.

There are basic tutorials and guides on scripting on YouTube and other video websites.
The way that I learned Lua was basically by studying other players scripts, and pretty much by learning from my own mistakes. There are plenty of resources to help though, if that isn't an option for you. Try using Youtube, This site of course, and the Roblox Wiki: http://wiki.roblox.com/index.php?title=Scripting
