I am confused, [I cant see the picture]. What value are you talking about? Color value? Zindex? Or a different one?
so like when I have both of them at transparency 0 they look the same but when I do 0.5 transparency on both they completely change
Oh, I don't rlly mess around with the GUI in my game that much. It might be a bug with roblox . Or, why dont you try creating a backround gui darker. Setting the transparency, so it will also blend with that frame behind it
