local NumberValue = Instance.new("NumberValue")

NumberValue.Value = 35

That's all you need to do to set a NumberValue to a number ("=" operator)

local temp = game.Workspace.CoreStatus.temp print(temp.Value) -- shows you the original value wait(.025) temp.Value = 35 -- changes the value print(temp.Value) -- shows you new value

First of all, please put a code block. Second of all, you forgot the equal sign. Here is the polished version.

game.Workspace.temp.Value = 35
