Just so I can make my map look a little more alive. It doesn't need to be anything special I just want it to look a little more like water.
How to I make a part textured as water move?

Add the Roblox Terrain Water and if you don't want people to swim in it then block it with an invisible part.
You can also use the standard method with texture changing which doesn't really work that well but I guess it works... Make sure you add a texture on the part.
d=script.Parent.Texture
while true do
wait(.1)
d.Texture="texture link"
wait(.1)
d.Texture="texture link"
wait(.1)
d.Texture="texture link"
wait(.1)
d.Texture="texture link"
end
It's best if you use the terrain editor in roblox studio. It is very simple, and very cool. It adds realistic water with waves, you can edit the wave speed and size, and you can customize the color of the water too. It is the original way of creating water in roblox games. Players can swim in water created using the roblox Terrain Editor.
Just open the Terrain Editor from the top bar, and select add water. Then, simply select the location and you're done! It's that easy. If you still need more help, you can watch this
