Can you set a body velocity as a humanoidrootpart position?

So I'm making this code that sets a body velocity as the player's humanoid root part position, But the code I tried didn't work, Can anyone tell me why?

My code:

while wait(1) do
	bodyVelocity.Velocity = players:FindFirstChild("HumanoidRootPart").Position
end

You can do that but it does not do what you think it does. Velocity is a vector denoting speed and direction, but the position is a point. Setting the velocity to a position will just have the part go in the direction of position.Unit which likely does not make sense for your use case.

If you want it to reach a point, you can use a BodyPosition.
