Why does my script think a clone's child does not exist?

So I made a script to clone a character to go in a ViewportFrame, but my script says there's nothing in the model. Here's my script:

local Player = script.Parent.Parent.Parent.Parent
local character = workspace:WaitForChild(Player.Name)
if character then
	print("Found character")
end

local char = character:Clone()
char:WaitForChild("Head").CFrame = CFrame.new(script.Parent.CharHeadTeleportPart.Position, script.Parent.CamPart.Position)
char.Name = "Char"
char.Parent = script.Parent

What error did I make?

You need to make the Character Archivable in order to clone it.

Like so:

character.Archivable = true

Yup, it's literally that easy..
