How would a model move from a certain point?

Hi, im currently developing a horror type of game, which I cannot figure out how I would make a moving rocking chair.

I know this is not a request site but can someone please direct me where to start?

For the people who don't know what a rocking chair is, its the type of chair that goes back and forth, moving until it stops.
