How can i make a model slide across the road to a part?

So basically, i need a car that is able to move using a script, basically just sliding across the road (the wheels don't need to turn). The main thing that's the problem is that i need the car to actually go quite fast at times, so when i tried a bunch of for loops with setprimarypartcframe, it wasn't working. I have looked at a whole bunch of videos, tutorials, none of them really helped. Right now, my idea is to use a Humanoid, and do a bunch of moveto() functions. But when i tried it out, my car started going all weird, going backwards, and just not working. Here is my code:

local model = script.Parent

wait(15)

model:MoveTo(Vector3.new(47.188, 12.599, 356.239))

Even though i have the humanoid, it still doesn't slide across, instead it just teleports it there. Then, it starts going backwards even though there is no reason for it to. Can anyone help?

Thanks :)
