I’m trying to make an overhead name GUI, I’m sure there are plenty free models, but I can’t seem to find any good ones, so I made my own. Only problem is, I don’t know how I would go about scripting it to actually show. Note: It is a NAME tag, it does not have a group rank. That was a problem with a lot of resources I found on the DevForum that may have worked; almost all of them were for a group.

Overhead GUI name tag script (?)

Use Billboard GUI. Since it will be visible to all players, It should be server-sided. You can make this by using scripts, Here is the example:
game.Players.PlayerAdded:Connect(function()
local billboardGUI = Instance.new("BillboardGUI", game.Players.LocalPlayer) -- Making the Billboard's Parent The Player
local TextLabel = Instance.new("TextLabel", billboardGUI) -- Making the Text Labels Parent the Billboard GUI
TextLabel.Text = game.Players.LocalPlayer.Character.Parent.Name -- Basically It will show up the players Username
end)

Alright, the parent/child chain would be game.Workspace.OverheadGuiObject.PlayerName
Sorry ;-; In game.Players.PlayerAdded you should add the player parameter without having to go to the local side which the server cant access.
