How to get rotation of joystick?

I was wondering how I could get the "X and Y" positions of the joystick so I can control the plane with it.

I might not have been clear enough in my question, all I want to do is take the joystick I made in the video and use it to control my plane. I already have a plane chassis I just need the values for the control surfaces
