Can team member kill their teammate?

when the attack sciript is activated, reference the team like this:
local yourteam = game.Players.LocalPlayer.Team
then make it so that if the player that is hit's team is on your team, the script returns and then ends. else, fire a damage event
because yourteam uses game.Players.LocalPlayer, it won't work on server scripts.
