You can enable Studio API Access in Game Settings
Are you sure you're not using any free model in which uses Datastore?
There's an easy fix for this anyway, all you have to do is enable the Datastore API in the "Configure this Game" settings.

its everytime when i make a new game i have only 1 script in the game that has a for loop in it

cause you didn't enable api service.
You have to publish your game if you want to save data in studio

That's not his question. The reason it didn't work is because api service is disabled.

Are you sure none of your scripts have something along the lines of API usage?
i just made a new game and made a script with only a for loop in it
maybe code your using or items require you to have datastore access, turn it on in settings -> Security, in studio
All you have to do is enable studio API. Search it up and do research before asking a question since there's a high chance that it is answered somewhere.
