I'm making a script which prints a NumberValue named "Throttle". This value changes if W or S is pressed.

However, it still prints "0", even though Throttle has changed it's value.

Here's the script:

local throttle = script.Parent.Parent.Throttle

while wait() do
	print(tostring(throttle.Value))
end

Any help would be appreciated!

If you're changing the value on the client, it won't update on the server because of FE (Filtering Enabled), which is a form of anti-exploit which prevents the client from making modifications to the server. Try printing the value on the client or change the value on the server.

Ah I see, so you must print the value on the client side instead of the server side?

In this case, yes. Since you're changing it on the client you'll only be able to get the updated value from the client. Unless, if you were changing the value on the server then both the server and client would be able to get the updated value.

OK. Thanks!
