Greetings. I am personally here to ask questions regarding a form of intra-server teleportation that involves the usage of vehicles. My research for the past few weeks has proved with no avail that what I am attempting to head for does not exist.
My current planned framework is as such: a game where I can use vehicles (preferably normal vehicles available from the Toolbox) and travel to a certain point where a teleportation into another server will kickstart. The position of the vehicle and the velocity will be recorded, which the player and the vehicle will both teleport into another server (in a specific, corresponding position). This is to make an illusion where the vehicle's trip between servers seems to never end.
I have made researches into the usage of TeleportService, and what I can conclude is that the use of that function is only available for the Humanoid itself, but not the vehicle, as the teleportation service cannot be used to teleport instances. This has proved to be an incredibly tough problem for me to solve. I tried to ask questions in other developers / scripting platforms, and what I can garner is that for this mode to occur, the use of CFrame, Vector3, tables, and datastorage will be included. I also personally am convinced that ReplicatedStorage will also be used.
For the present, my coding resembles a normal use of TeleportService. I can make the player teleport while travelling into a certain spot while travelling on a moving vehicle, however post-teleportation the second server only teleports the players, but not the vehicle. The velocity of the player is also not recorded and remains stationary at the spawning point in the second server.
Is there a specific way to make this happen? I beg for humbleness that any scripters with any descent idea in coding can help me solve the question. I am grateful to thank y'all on advance if y'all can make any constructive responses possible (at best in the form of certain codings that I can reconstruct).
