Is there any way at all to control player size?

In my game, I wanted it so that if you joined, you would be really small, I tried a script from a tutorial but I don't know what is wrong with it, could somebody help? Script:

function PlayerSize(player) local SizeValue = 1 local humanoid = player.Character.Humanoid if humanoid then if humanoid:FindFirstChild("BodyHeightScale")then humanoid.BodyHeightScale.Value = SizeValue end if humanoid:FindFirstChild("BodyWidthtScale")then humanoid.BodyWidthScale.Value = 0.85 end if humanoid:FindFirstChild("BodyDepthScale")then humanoid.BodyDepthScale.Value = 0.85 end if humanoid:FindFirstChild("HeadScale")then humanoid.HeadScale.Value = 1.15

	end
end

end

did you try resizing the parts instead of changing the property in humanoid

Sorry If I am a idiot, but does that mean like resizing the arm, the head, the leg, etc.?

The problem is that you aren't firing the function. Make this a server script and put it in ServerScriptService.

game.Players.PlayerAdded:Connect(function(player)  -- detect when a player joins
	local   SizeValue = 1
	local char = player.Character or player.CharacterAdded:Wait() --define character
	local humanoid = char.Humanoid
	if humanoid then
		if humanoid:FindFirstChild("BodyHeightScale")then
			humanoid.BodyHeightScale.Value = SizeValue
		end
		if humanoid:FindFirstChild("BodyWidthScale")then
			humanoid.BodyWidthScale.Value = 0.85
		end
		if humanoid:FindFirstChild("BodyDepthScale")then
			humanoid.BodyDepthScale.Value = 0.85
		end
		if humanoid:FindFirstChild("HeadScale")then
			humanoid.HeadScale.Value = 1.15
		end
	end
end)

Nope. :/

It worked for me. Do you have the character set to R15? It doesn't work for R6.

il retry with it

Nvm in the avatar page, its already set to it.

Have you tried adjusting the scale values more? The difference is pretty small. If that doesn't work, it's probably because you have a body bundle on. You need to change the body part meshes to default.

Actually the latter isn't likely. I remember seeing people with stretched out parts and body bundles or whatever you call them.

Nvm it works i just need to get the correct numbers, thanks!

It gives it a ice rink effect, any way to fix that?

What do you mean by ice rink effect?

0

Well, when I walk it makes me slide like I am on a ice rink.

Get the humanoid state and disable whatever is making the character behave odd
