I have the weirdest issue where I made a lute that plays music the first time u use it. then if u reequip the music doesn't play anymore. when the gui button is clicked to play the song, it fires it to the server.
for i,v in pairs(luteGui.Frame:GetChildren())do
v.MouseButton1Click:Connect(function()
remoteEvent:FireServer("rbxassetid://"..songList[i])
playTrack:Play()
idleTrack:Stop()
end)
end
then the server plays the song
remoteEvent.OnServerEvent:Connect(function(player,songID)
local humanoid
if player.Character and player.Character:FindFirstChild("Humanoid") then
humanoid = player.Character.Humanoid
if humanoid.Health > 0 then
tool.Model.Body.Sound.SoundId = songID
print(tool.Model.Body.Sound.Playing)
tool.Model.Body.Sound.Playing = true
end
end
end)
tool.Model.Body.Sound.Playing is printing true, but when I checked its properties on the client it's still on false. On the server it's set as true. I've never had a problem where a change was made on the server that done by a server script not replicate to the clients. Anyone know what's going on here?
