Hello all and happy new year to everyone!
I am building a quiz game. Each question in the quiz has 4 possible answers and there are 4 parts with each part being an answer to the question. To answer the question a player must stand on the correct part that is on the ground. If a player gets the answer to the question wrong they die (Already sorted that bit) but if they get the answer correct I want to give them some points. After 15 seconds of the question coming up the answer will be revealed.
I already have a leaderstats and everything is working fine except I can't figure out how to give points to a player that gets the question correct. At first, I thought about using Touched but the problem with that is players would only get the points if they are moving, which would obviously cause an issue with the fact that once a player has chosen their answer, they probably will stay still.
Then I thought about raycasting, which could work but again I can't figure out how to give the points once the ray has intersected a player.
I'm now thinking about using region3 to find the players that are on the correct answer and give them points that way but again I am struggling to figure out how to do it.
Another issue that I need to address is that I only want to give the players points once per answered question (if they get it right of course). Also, once the 15 seconds are up then the players already on the correct part should get the points but if someone steps on after, I don't want them to get points.
If anyone has any suggestions on how to do this I would be extremely grateful also if anyone needs more information just let me know and I will try my best to get it for you.
Thanks everyone!

So I thought of doing this in the first instance, however, there are some problems. This will only give points to a player if they touch the part, not already touching a part, which means the player would have to be moving. it also allows anyone else to touch that part after the answer to the quiz question has been revealed and still gain the points
Last of all there is no debounce so there is no limit on how much the part can be touched thus meaning that if someone walks around on top of that part they will continuously receive points from it.
Hmm ye that could be a major problem
