So im trying to create a code that does a very low grade encoded , ive got all the leg work done and dusted, but im having trouble converting a table into a string. So what ive done is turn a string into a table (like so)
local str = Parent.Message.Text
local message = {}
for i = 1, #str do
message[i] = str:sub(i, i)
end
Then ive done the in coding part and i get the table back with the correct encoded values. and upon printing it out I get a string with spaces in-between each character, my first question , is there a way to remove thoes spaces when turning a table back into a string (its fine if there isnt, it would just be easier in the long run if there were). More importantly, the second question, how do I display this string in a text box, after trying to set the text of the text box to the encoded string(like so)
Parent.EncryptedMessage.Text = unpack(message)
(EncryptedMessage is the name of the text box) only the first letter of the string is displayed. At this point idk whats going on, any ideas?
