How would I be able to make people play as a custom character with their own avatar's clothes?

All you would have to do is get the player's character, edit their skin color to the color you want. Then, clone the hair into the character, and the face into their head. sorry if this is a bit tedious!

Assuming you already have a character object, you can just clone() the original avatars clothes to it
